Hi all, I am growing out some more seeds for the very popular Free Cannabis Seed Offer here on JCS. These will all be autoflower cannabis seeds.
Be sure to get on my email list to assure you receive notification when these seeds are ready. I also give out email list exclusive discounts, and deals, so don’t miss out on those.
I have decided to offer two types of free cannabis seed offers….one will be only autoflowering seeds, and the other will be photo cannabis seeds. I am growing the autos as we speak. The other plants in this image are MI5, Sour 60, and Blue Haze auto-flowers that I am growing out for seed for you guys.
I am having some fun with it….growing all the plants I will let produce seed in just one 10 gallon pot. I will be updating this post throughout the grow, so you can see the plants that will produce the seeds for those free seed orders.
Here are a list of the genetics that are involved….Sour 60 Autos, MI5 autos, Blue Haze Autos, Sour Lowryder Autos, Blueberry Autos, and even a few Afghani Autos thrown in for good measure.
So here is what I have done, I planted several of each strain, then just let them grow, the resulting seeds will be a mix of all these genetics…but basically they will all be either a pure auto strain, or an F1 hybrid of two different autos. There will end up being about 11 plants in that one pot…..2 males, and 9 females.
They will produce some awesome plants that I am sure you guys will enjoy.
Update….11/17/21….it is amazing how fast cannabis can grow if it is simply fed properly. These are only 4 days older then the last pics…. I feed my plants regularly, and I added a layer of compost to the top of the soil with these.
I am having fun with this grow and growing them in this one pot all together. Makes it easy to grow them out under only one light. I would get alot more seed if I had transplanted them, but we shall see….
As you can see they are loving life, should put on some good size, even crowded together in the same pot. The ‘trick’ to growing plants with limited space for their roots is to feed them all the nutrients they can use. I should have one of those grow contests in the Dixie cups…
Too, you will notice I covered the compost with a layer of perlite. This not only helps to control fungus gnats that I have had some issues with, but also reflects the light back up to the leaves.
I also like to water from the bottom, which can also prevent many of the problems you can encounter in an inside grow. I plan on updating this post about once a week, with new pics of their progress….so check back often to see how they are doing.
11/23/21…They are maturing very quickly it seems. Here is some pics of them now, and these will be the ones I let flower out, They are beginning to show sex, although some will be slower then others of course. I will allow 2 different males to have their way with the girls.
Does anyone else wash your cannabis plants periodically?
The area I live in is very dry, so I like to wash the leaves of my plants to maximize photosynthesis.
You might be surprised at how much light can be blocked by a film of dust on the leaves.
The washing pretty much ends once I have pollen moving around the room, until the males are done, then I give them a one lash bath till their seeds are mature.
I have these under a 20/4 light regime, for rapid growth. They certainly are not disappointing…
Here are those images…
11/25/21…Well, I guess I am really keeping up on these updates!
Anyways these auto plants are maturing quickly, and looking pretty good.
I am getting some leaf curl, which many times indicates your growing environment is too hot. But not in this case, and I have seen this before, truthfully not sure what causes it. If you have a good idea tell me your thoughts in a comment.
I feed these plants about every watering, plants like all living things need food.
I find the simplest, and easiest way to provide the food they need is while I water, I can look at the plants and see if they are hungry each time I water them a bit.
Plants, like people, animals, and most living things are individuals, some may require a lot of food, while others not so much. I like to push my plants a bit with fertilizer so they can reach their full potential.
If I am growing plants in their own pots I like to push them till that one plant that is the first to show signs of burn….does. This plant then can become the one that shows me I am using the right amounts of fertilizer. If that plant shows burn, you know you need to back off a bit with the ferts.
When growing seed I also feed a full spectrum fertilizer throughout their lives as they need the nutrients to produce the best seed.
I could go on and on….but here are some images of them after only a few days I see…..
Another image as they grow on….11/27/21
I have always been curious about leaves that curl a bit like that. I know that heat can be the culprit, although that is certainly not the case here.
Some plants seem to do this, and then come out of it without any intervention on my part.
It falls under my category of….’Don’t sweat the small stuff.’
Anyways, as I said before they seem to be maturing rapidly, seeing how they are only about 3 weeks old.
Check out my short YouTube videos of this grow if you like. I would share the vids here, but YouTube blocks them as being age sensitive. Anyways here is the link to my YouTube channel.
12/2/21 update….Well they are maturing, and getting to know one another.
The plants are basically loving life, and growing rather large for being crowded together as they are. I will get a good number of seeds from this grow for those free seed orders you guys love.
Maybe I should have kept track of who was who in this grow, their are a couple of females that have been impressive. I think they may be the Blue Haze auto-flowering strain, but again not too sure.
Her are a few new images of these plants as they continue to grow out….
And the whole group….
12/8/21….The free seed grow goes on…
The speed at which these plants are maturing is surprising me. I am not one to count the days of a grow, nor to keep much in the way for records at all. I simply respond to what the plants tell me they need when caring for them.
These seeds will likely be ready in about one more month or so. One thing I love about autos. 60 days to mature seed is fast!
One thing to keep in mind when looking at seeded cannabis, and perhaps the reason you do not see many images of these plants on seed banks…..is the buds will not attain the size of unseeded, or cannabis grown as sinsemilla.
Seeded plants put their energy towards maturing their seed, rather then stacking on more flowers.
When judging a seeded plant, look more at the plant structure, rather then it’s size. Flowers that are exposed to pollen when their very first hairs appear will simply not get as big as flowers grown as sinsemilla.
Here are some updated images of the grow I took today….
And the whole group….
12/14/21…Time to say goodbye to the males. They have fulfilled their life’s desire….pollinated the females to make seed and have enjoyed the satisfaction of procreation.
They have been very viral, and have done their jobs like a boss. All the females, although small (seeded plants just do not attain the size of unseeded plants, as they put their effort and resources into maturing their seed) are fully seeded.
You may notice a bit of leaf discoloration, not to worry though. I believe it is simply a PH issue, and will not hurt the seeds produced at all, nor affect the genetics of these plants at all.
At this point in their lives they will give their seed everything they have….literally! Plants, like all mothers will give their very lives for their offspring….the truest love this world has to offer in my opinion.
So here they are one last time….
Well the males are now gone and these are some of the buds that are maturing their seeds for free cannabis seed orders. I expect the seeds to be ready in just a couple of weeks.
The plants themselves can become hard to look at as they are basically dying of old age while maturing their seed.
As they age they will begin to yellow, and finally begin to wither….all the while leaving behind beautiful seeds to carry on their genetics.
It won’t be long now, and if you want a heads up when these are done and I put them on site, be sure you are signed up for my email list.
Here are some of those buds….be aware seeded buds do not attain the size of unseeded buds, as the plant puts it’s resources into maturing it’s seed rather then stacking on more flowers.
You can however get a good estimation of how well the flowers will be crystalized…..
Well the free seed grow is approaching maturity.
So I am giving those who subscribe to my blog a heads up.
I expect to harvest them in about 1 week, then a week or two till they are dry, and ready to offer to you guys.
Be sure to sign up for my email list (there is a sign up form in the footer of any page) so that you will be the first to know.
No matter what you call them…Cheap Cannabis Seeds, Cheap Marijuana Seeds, Cheap Pot Seeds, or Cheap Weed Seeds, this is the site you have been looking for.
First off, one way to get your hands on some of the cheapest cannabis seeds you will find online is to take advantage of my email list exclusive offers by signing up for my email list. I don’t spam you, nor even bother you much, so this is a no-brainer! I regularly send discount coupon codes exclusively to my list.
Many people equate the word ‘cheap’ with a low quality product. Nothing could be farther from the truth here at (JCS) JustCannabisSeed.com.
I sell some of the highest quality, dirt cheap cannabis seeds you will find anywhere online. Yes, my cannabis seeds are ‘cheap’ but only in price…..never in quality!
But, please if you know of any websites online who sell their marijuana seeds for cheaper….let me know in a comment below.
All my genetics are being sold by other seed banks online….the only difference on my site is, they are simply cheaper then those other guys.
I actually grow most of the cannabis seeds I sell, and, by cutting out the middle man I can offer my cannabis seeds for cheaper then other seed banks.
You will find no cannabis seeds for sale on(JCS) JustCannabisSeed.com for over $6.50 per seed. With many being priced much cheaper then that!
Not only are they about the cheapest weed seeds you will find anywhere online….since I have grown them out, they are also some of the freshest cannabis seeds you will find online. Therefore 100% germination should be a slam dunk.
I believe prices are coming down on some of the other cannabis seed banks you will find online, perhaps as a result of my cheap prices…:) I just see no reason to take advantage of my customers….even though I too could tell you about all the time and money I spend creating, and producing these top shelf genetics to sell to you guys online….yada, yada
Truthfully, it is more a labor of love, and not the chore other seed banks make it seem to justify their high prices.
When I built this website I had just finished a grow, during a brutally hot summer, inside my greenhouse.
I was working so much at the time i just didn’t give these plants (they were mis-marked seeds from a large seed bank and not auto-flowers as they were suppose to be) the care they deserved.
Most became males (the stress of the heat perhaps) except for one large female Sativa type of plant that reminded me of some Strawberry Cough plants I had grown out previously. She produced over 50,000 beautiful mature seeds!
She was a beast, and would have been 10 feet tall outdoors. She was covered with the normal Sativa like flowers, and would have produced many lbs of sinsemilla.
I thought to myself….ok, now these cannabis seeds are destined to be cheap…..really cheap….or even better yet….Free!
These cannabis seeds are indeed free, I only ask for a nominal fee to cover shipping and handling. You will get about 20 seeds in these free cannabis seed orders, and no other purchase is necessary. This offer is only while supplies last, and is so popular I have a hard time keeping them in stock.
At less then a buck a seed (after paying the $15 shipping and handling fee) these are absolutely the cheapest cannabis seeds you will find anywhere online.
From the inception of JustCannabisSeed.com I have always wanted to offer some of the most economical cannabis seeds you will find anywhere online. For that reason you need look no farther for cheap hybrid cannabis seeds then the a strain I offer called The Force.
The Force is a well-rounded hybrid, 75% Indica and 25% Sativa. Another in the Star Wars series from New 420 Guy Seeds.
This frosty hybrid combo of the famed Jedi and Alien Kush.
I grew these seeds out, but ended up harvesting them just a bit early. So they were destined to be very cheap weed seeds.
No worries however, as I have test germinated them several times with nearly 100% germination every time.
BadAss BB’s is an F1 cross of The Black, and The Big, two cannabis strains that have been around for a few years. Some of these plants will likely turn purple , especially when grow in the coolness of fall.
Affordable Indica Cannabis Seeds
I will be adding more cheap Indica cannabis seeds to the line up in the near future. Indicas have always been my favorite type of cannabis plant.
Here are some of the Indica cannabis strains I have for sell….
Narkush Regular Cannabis Seeds…Narkush is a very frosty Indica strain straight from the Hindu Kush Mountains. These cannabis plants can become so resinous that they can even have trichomes on their stems!
The Black Regular Cannabis Seeds….This is an awesome strain that can turn so purple in the coolness of fall it can sometimes look black! It’s actual lineage is unknown, but at $6.50 a seed I doubt you will find this strain any cheaper.
Low Cost Sativa Cannabis Seeds
Producing some of these pure Sativa cannabis seeds has been a labor of love for the last couple of years.
Even though I have spent time, and several grows developing some of these seeds, the Santa Marta Colombian Gold in particular….I will still offer them inexpensively.
A few words about the Santa Marta Gold cannabis strain if I may:
I grew my very first cannabis plant in 1968 as junior in High School.
And it was a Santa Marta Colombian Gold plant.
I remember the plant well, and I remember all it’s characteristics. It was a long season tropical type of Sativa….that did not even come close to finishing at 4500 ft elevation where I lived in Southern Oregon.
We smoked the leaves anyways and got a sore throat…..lol
I grew these seeds several times in the past two years, and isolated a phenotype that was closest to that phenotype from all those years ago.
I have spent much time and energy on this strain, and at $6.50 a seed is still a cheap price point.
Hawaiian Regular Cannabis Seed….A new Sativa strain just added to the line up recently. This too is a tropical type of Sativa plant that will take time to flower, but will be so worth it!
Lebanese Regular Cannabis Seeds….These Lebanese cannabis plants tend to be short and small with thin stalks, stunted branches, thin Sativa type leaves, copious resin production, somewhat leafy buds and a short flowering period.
Inexpensive Hemp Cannabis Seeds
Sunset Sherbet Regular Hemp Seed…..I have only one variety of hemp cannabis seeds right now. I bought these seeds bulk wholesale, and this is a very popular strain, but I feel their germination rate is beginning to fall…so priced cheaply at only $3.50 per seed.
Cheap Ruderalis Cannabis Seeds
Coming soon a strain of cheap Ruderalis regular cannabis seeds for those of you who want to breed new cannabis strains. Ruderalis is of course the strain that makes all the auto-flowering cannabis possible.
And, did I mention I will sell these seeds cheaply as well!
Low Priced Auto Flower Cannabis Seeds
I love auto flowering cannabis plants. I like the fact that if you include a greenhouse you can easily grow at least 3 different crops a summer season where I live. You can enjoy many different types of medicine in one outdoor growing season.
Without farther ado lets dive into my cheapest strains of auto-flowering cannabis that I am offering:
Sour 60 Auto-Flower Donkey Dong (Green) Regular Cannabis Seed….This is my favorite cannabis auto flower I carry. It is a fast finisher (about 60 days) potent (one fella told me it was the most potent pot he had ever grown) and is a very stable strain….ie: all the plants will look very similar. I will always sell this strain cheaply, and you will find it on sale often.
Gorilla Glue Auto-Flower Regular Cannabis Seed….this is a very popular strain and my cheap fixed price is only 5 bucks a seed. The crystallization of these plants is impressive, they too are a stable, fast finishing auto that customers love.
Inexpensive Cannabis Seed Packs
There is another way to buy some great cannabis seeds for cheap here on JCS. And that is to take advantage of some of our high quality, cheap cannabis seed packs. Lets take a look at just how cheap they are…..
Beginners Cannabis Auto-Flower Seed Pack Regular Seed….Beginner Auto-Flower Seed Packs contains 25 seeds total of 5 different auto-flowering cannabis strains that are great for beginners (5 seeds of each strain.) Fast-growing, and fast-finishing! That works out to only 4 bucks a seed!

And at a cheap price of only about $2.50 per seed….well that is just BadAss!

Sour 60 (Sour Sixty) has become a strain that is well-known in the cannabis industry and by cannabis enthusiasts. It is plentiful in dispensaries and its seeds can be acquired right here at JustCannabisSeed.com!
There has been much curiosity surrounding the mentioning of its name, so we will cover some interesting facts about Sour 60 Auto-Flowering Strain.
Sour 60 is an evenly proportioned indica/sativa hybrid- 40% indica and 40% sativa. The other 20% belongs to ruderalis genetics, which offers the auto-flowering cannabis characteristics.
It was named “Sour 60” because of its impressively quick growth period- this strain can reach maturity from seedling in just 60 days!
The parent plants of this hybrid (which we thank for its genetics) are Lowryder x Master Kush x Blueberry x Sour Bubble. Familiar with these awesome weed strains?
Sour 60 was bred from the best!
The flavor that Sour 60 provides has been described as both sweet and spicy, and is undeniably and pleasantly strong.
Being that it is a hybrid with equal amounts of genetics from Indica and Sativa, its effects cover a broad range of issues that many experience, including insomnia, stress, pain, and anxiety!
It is also known for its extravagant healing effects on those who suffer from chronic stress disorders, such as PTSD, as well.
There are two distinct phenotypes of Sour 60: Green Donkey Dong and The Purple Phenotype. The Purple phenotype produces equal cannabinoid content distributed in more buds than with Donkey Kong.
The Purple phenotype also has more of a purple hue to its flower, although Donkey Kong still has attractive purple undertones.

This is a very commonly asked question here at Just Cannabis Seed, as our low, unmatchable prices have piqued the interest, led to curiosity, and even raised skepticism of our site’s viewers and customers.
The reason that our high-quality cannabis seeds are priced so affordably is simple: for you…..the customers.
I have always used the paper towel method. I prefer a moistened paper towel that I place my seeds in. I then put it in a plastic bag and let it sit over night in a dark closet. I also put a heating pad on low under the tray. This method has always worked extremely well for me. I live in a humid coastal region. Which can be a good and a bad thing…
I just wanted everyone to know that I have noticed a huge difference in the way this site works. Its not just me either. We have had more new members join our forums/blog in a short span of time than ever before. That is something to be proud of for sure. If your anything like me, I am trying to help Mother Nature a bit. I think we have messed her up enough. So let’s try and bring her back to where she was 100 years ago. Cleaner, fresher, not so pissed off…
So that is why I wanted to say thank you Jerry ! I truly appreciate the fact that your are putting out such a good fresh viable product. I literally dropped 12 and they had all popped in less than 24 hours. I have never had such beautiful things morph out of this little tiny thing. You are so prompt on getting our packages out. If you pay cash it seems to be there in two days. I am very happy to be part of this movement. You are putting genetics back where they need to be and doing a kick ass job while doing it. The Mandela effect works ! – Your a plethora of knowledge and I am a sponge ready to absorb it all…
Thank you Ashley,
These are the some pictures of our free seed grow….
Wow, I am trying to find some regular autoflowering cannabis seeds to buy so I can produce my own seed. But, the price these seed banks ask for their seeds is outrageous! It is no wonder people are amazed at how cheap my cannabis seeds are.
You can find a few seed banks that offer seed for less then $10.00 USD a seed, but not easily. I find no one online that sells their seed anywhere as cheap as I do here on JustCannabisSeed.com.
Hell I found some seed banks that were so proud of their seed or, just so greedy (this more then likely) that they offer their seed to you at $12.00-$15.00 A SEED!
The sad thing to me is these seed banks are busy selling their high priced seed all day long. People buy them. I think there is something to be said about people thinking they are getting something special because they are spending more money. The truth is they can get the very same genetics here for much cheaper!
The fact is anyone can grow any cannabis plant out and make seed easily no matter the genetics. It does not matter, cannabis is cannabis and all the plants grow out and do their thing. I can grow and make seed from a $100 seed or a $1 seed it makes no difference. The seed I produce will be the same seed anyone else would produce.
I guess I will have to pay that high price so I can produce 10,000 seeds of those genetics and sell on my site for a third of their cost.
My seeds will always be cheap. I will always sell you those same top shelf genetics for a fraction of the price of those ‘other’ seed banks.
My goal at JustCannabisSeed.com is to make YOU a return customer. And it is working, I take such good care of my customers that after less then a year online 60% of my visitors are return visits to my site.
JCS~The Home of Cheap High-Quality Cannabis Seeds Online
With cannabis becoming more mainstream, and accepted, both socially and legally. Cannabis seed banks are popping up all over. Many of these seed banks still charge those high prices for the seeds they offer.
Most of these seed banks are simply marijuana seed resellers. They don’t produce the seed they sell, they buy all their cannabis seed wholesale, and then simply resell at a profit. And, at the going rate of $10.00 a seed the profit is enormous!
I’m doing things a bit different here at JCS, you see I produce many of the seeds I sell, and although I do buy seed wholesale as well, I don’t need to enjoy that huge profit margin, because I would rather pass the savings on to you, my customer.
Cheapest Cannabis Seed Online?
I don’t really know that my cannabis seeds are actually the cheapest you can find online. But at 2 bucks a seed I kinda think they are!
I offer my cannabis seeds, which are all from high quality, killer genetics for cheap, bargain prices. I have slashed prices from now till Christmas. Some of my most popular auto-flower seeds are literally at wholesale, bulk pricing. Some of the cheapest seeds you will find anywhere. All my seeds have been quality tested, and you can be assured of getting the genetics you bought.
My site is new, and I want you the customer to be amazed at how cheap my seeds really are! I want you to take advantage of these low-cost cannabis seeds. I want you to come back and buy from me again. I strive for return customers.
Here are some links to some of the great cannabis seed deals I’m offering:
I’ve decided to sell The Force cannabis seeds cheap as well, at $2.50 a seed it is a real bargain! The Force is a very vigorous hybrid that exhibits excellent hybrid vigor. I was amazed at just how fast and strong this strain grows. I had to keep the plants below a certain height, and it was a challenge! The Force also buds out nicely.
The cheapest cannabis seeds you will find is my Free Cannabis Seed Offer. These are seeds from the exact same genetics that we sell. These are top-quality seeds, not hemp, or seed from ragweed, or any kind of substandard cannabis seeds.
You will be charged a flat rate of $10.00 for shipping and handling within the USA. A small price to pay for over 50 high-quality cannabis seeds! That comes to only $.20 a seed! That sounds cheap to me!
These seeds are breeding mistakes, overruns, and mismarked seed. You will likely find some real ‘gems’ to grow out.
Since I’m writing a post about all the cheap deals I have to offer, I think I should again mention my free offerings. Besides the free cannabis seed deal, I have over 100 Absolutely Free PDF Cannabis-Related Ebooks. There are several grow guides to choose from. You can download one, or you can download them all. These files have been tested, and are all safe and secure on my site….safe to download.
I also offer some of the cannabis-related images I have taken. These images are free to useon your blog or website. I only ask for a link from your website back to mine. A backlink. You could link to my home page, weed seed shop, or any of my product pages. Here is the link to the royalty-free cannabis images.
The embryo is developed from the zygote and the seed coat from the integuments of the ovule. Seeds have been an important development in the reproduction and success of gymnosperm and angiosperm plants, relative to more primitive plants such as ferns, mosses and liverworts, which do not have seeds and use water-dependent means to propagate themselves.
What is a Cannabis Seed? Cannabis seeds are one way marijuana plants can propagate. There are other ways of propagation, such as cuttings, layering, division, and budding/grafting to name a few.
Seeds would seem to be nature’s favorite way of continuing a plant species, and they are my favorite way. Clones are great, but I’m kinda old school…I enjoy growing from seed, as well as producing cannabis seeds.
Cannabis is an annual plant, meaning it lives and dies normally in a single season. Photo-sensitive cannabis can, however, be ‘revegged’ or made to grow vegetatively again, even after the plant has initiated flowering, or even when they are done with their life cycle, ie (after the buds are harvested.)
Cannabis is also a dioecious plant, which means that female and male reproductive organs are found on separate plants. Female cannabis plants can be grown without males to produce…. ‘sinsemilla’ or seedless marijuana that is touted to be more potent than seeded marijuana. (and, seeds popping in your smoke is never a good thing)
How To Tell The Sex Of A Cannabis Plant…Male Or Female?
Just a few words about sexing cannabis plants. There is alot of tado about being able to determine which sex your cannabis plants are, but it is really not difficult. Most I think are too impatient, you need to give the plant time to show you. Don’t worry, you will also have plenty of time to respond once the sex of the plant is assured.
So in the images above you can plainly see the white “hairs’ on the female plant. These hairs may be a different color, but will always look similar. As the female plant continues to flower it will produce many more, and they will begin to stack up.
The flowers of the male plants, on the other hand, look completely different. There is only one good male flower in the image above, it is high on the left of the stem. It is, however, all male, that is what the male ‘balls’ look like. The flowers are basically egg-shaped, round looking before they open to release their pollen.
The higher concentrations of THC provide euphoric and intoxicating effects making it popular for use both as a recreational and medicinal drug.
Indica Cannabis Seeds come from the cannabis Indica plant. The Indica strains of cannabis originated in the hash producing countries like Morocco, Afghanistan, Tibet, and it’s namesake India.
Cannabis Indica is usually dark green in color and has broad leaves. These plants tend to be short, dense plants. The maturity of this plant is 6 to 8 weeks right after flowering. They usually have dense and thick buds. The flavor and aroma will vary from being pungent skunk to sweet and fruity.
Indicas tend to have higher levels of CBD and lower levels of THC. Which explains the term…couchlock! Pure Cannabis Indica strains will induce a heavy, stony, Cannabis Sativa sleepy stone when ingested. Cannabis Indicas tend to have higher yields than Cannabis Sativa.
Cannabis Indica also matures faster than Cannabis Sativa. Pure Indica plants finish flowering in about 8-14 weeks, while pure Sativas can take 16 weeks or even longer.
Wikipedia: Cannabis sativa is an annual herbaceousflowering plant indigenous to eastern Asia but now of cosmopolitan distribution due to widespread cultivation.
Cannabis SativaSeeds come from the Cannabis Sativa plant. Sativa Cannabis is a species of the Cannabaceae family (hemp) and can grow tall (up to 20 ft.)
The different cannabis species are also identifiable by their physical appearance. Sativa plants are recognizable by their long, spindly leaves, while Indica plants tend to have long fat leaves. The buds too are long and wispy and have red or orange coloring (hairs). Cannabis Sativa strains originated in the equatorial countries of Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, and South East Asia. Cannabis Sativa thrives in warmer climates.
Naturally occurring Cannabis Sativa plants take advantage of the equatorial sun and can get big, and once a Sativa plant flowers, they can take between 10 and 16 weeks to fully mature.
As cannabis gains more acceptance in mainstream society, the names of the species…ie Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Sativa are now becoming part of the vernacular. As a matter of fact, babies are now being named Sativa.
Many scholars accept Cannabis ruderalis as its own species due to its unique traits and phenotypes which distinguish it from Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa; however, it is widely debated by many other scholars as to whether or not ruderalis is a subspecies of Cannabis sativa.
Cannabis Ruderalis, or C. sativa subsp. sativa var. spontanea, is a low-THC variety or species of Cannabis which is native to Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.
Many scholars accept Cannabis ruderalis as its own species due to its unique traits and phenotypes which distinguish it from Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa; however, it is widely debated by many other scholars as to whether or not ruderalis is a subspecies of Cannabis sativa.
Cannabis ruderalis is a short and stalky plant. Ruderalis plants typically attain a height of less than 3 feet tall at harvest, they tend to be light green with wider leaves than sativas, and a rough shaggy look to them. Ruderalis buds are small, but still chunky, and are supported well.
What really sets Cannabis Ruderalis apart is that flowering is initiated by age, rather the length of the dark period, as it’s photosensitive cousins Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Sativa.
Using this trait to its full advantage Cannabis Ruderalis can be crossed with either Cannabis Sativa or Cannabis Indica to create a plant that will contain more THC but begin to flower because of age rather than light cycle. And, there you have the modern-day Auto-Flowering plants.
Wikipedia: Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a strain of the Cannabis sativa plant species that is grown specifically for the industrial uses of its derived products. It is one of the fastest growing plants and was one of the first plants to be spun into usable fiber 10,000 years ago.
Hemp has lower concentrations of THC and higher concentrations of cannabidiol (CBD), which decreases or eliminates its psychoactive effects. The legality of industrial hemp varies widely between countries. Some governments regulate the concentration of THC and permit only hemp that is bred with an especially low THC content.
Hemp is a popular subject nowadays, and with good reason. I believe hemp could solve many of the world’s problems because of it’s many and varied uses. Hemp can be used for food, fuel, clothing, construction materials, and even plastic, there are said to be over 50,000 uses for Industrial Hemp!
Most people are unaware that Hemp is actually a strain of Cannabis Sativa. Hemp generally contains little if any THC, but can be a good source of CBD, hence it’s much toted medicinal effects. Industrial Hemp is quickly gaining acceptance, and will likely be grown extensively in the near future.
How Cannabis Seeds Are Made
Many plants rely on bees, birds, and other animals to aid with their pollination. Cannabis, however, is one of about 80% of plants that rely simply on the wind for pollination. Cannabis pollen can travel miles to do the deed.
A female cannabis plant must be pollinated by pollen from a male plant in order to make regular cannabis seed(cannabis seed that will produce both males and females at about 50/50.)
Cannabis breeders have developed several types of cannabis seeds that are commonly bought online:
Cannabis seeds that are available for purchase online come in one of these cannabis strain configurations…
Cannabis growers must be aware of the cannabis plants ability to hermaphrodite or, for female cannabis plants to produce pollen that is laking the Y, or ‘male’ chromosome. This ‘pollen’ created by the female plant will produce only female offspring. This is how feminized cannabis seed is produced. More on that a bit later.
Indica Cannabis Seeds if unhybridized and from pure Indica genetics are considered a landrace strain. These seeds are commonly available for sale online.
Sativa Cannabis Seeds
Sativa Cannabis Seeds can be pure and unhybridized as well. They too would be considered a landrace strain, and readily available to purchase online.
Hybrid Cannabis Seeds
Hybrid Cannabis Seeds are seeds that have been crossed. Hybrids can be produced by crossing any of the cannabis strain with another….some common crosses…Sativa/Indica (very common hybrid), Ruderalis/Indica (produces an auto-flower), Ruderalis/Sativa (again produces and auto-flower.)
Auto-Flower Cannabis Seeds
Auto-flowering Cannabis Seeds are simply a cross between the Ruderalis cannabis strain and either an Indica, or a Sativa. The Indica or Sativa give the cross potency, and the Ruderalis takes away the photosensitivity common with most strains.
Autoflower cannabis hasn’t been around for too many years, but are starting to gain traction. The advantages of no photosensitivity, the speed with which they mature, and the time they are in the ground make auto-flowers a great choice for beginners.
Feminized Cannabis Seeds
Feminized Cannabis Seeds are produced by ‘forcing’ a female cannabis plant to hermaphrodite, or produce ‘female’ pollen in a last-ditch effort to continue the plant species. Female cannabis plants can be ‘forced’ to hermaphrodite by several methods…
Rodelization is taking advantage of the plants’ last-ditch effort to continue the species in the absence of a pollen-producing male marijuana plant. As female cannabis plants continue to flower and age, some can produce ‘female’ pollen if you will, this pollen lacks the y chromosome and produces seed that grows only female plants. This is one way to produce feminized cannabis seeds and the way most people do it ‘accidentally.’
Colloidal Silver is mixed with distilled water to the recommended strength, then sprayed on the blooming female cannabis plants….basically ‘forcing them to hermaphrodite and produce pollen, again lacking the Y chromosome, thus producing only female marijuana seeds and plants.
Gibberellic acid is used in the same way as colloidal silver. Gibberellic Acid comes in a powder that you mix with distilled water and spray on the blooming female cannabis plant. This like colloidal silver causes the female plant to produce pollen, which again will only grow into female plants.
Another way feminized cannabis seed is produced is by spraying the blooming cannabis plant with colloidal silver water. This effectively ‘forces’ the female cannabis plant to become a hermaphrodite and produce pollen. This pollen will again produce only female offspring.
There is a third way to propagate only female cannabis plants…cloning. Cloning is the act of rooting a cutting from a plant. The clone will be a duplicate plant…just like the plant the cutting was taken from. A clone will be the same sex as the parent plant and will be basically identical.
Good Cannabis Seed Or Bad Cannabis Seed….How To Tell
Cannabis Seeds are not all created equal. Some may not have matured long enough and will be immature, and difficult, or impossible to get to sprout.
Cannabis seeds should not have cracks, nor any damage to the outer shell. No dents either, they should be round, smooth, and cylindrical.
Good cannabis seeds should be good-sized, and fairly dark. Good seeds should have a hard shell, that will stand up to a good squeeze. Bad cannabis seeds tend to be a lighter green, and smaller. Here is an image of two rows of great seeds on the left, lower quality, but still likely viable seeds in the third row, and immature, unsatisfactory seeds in row four.
Another factor involved in seed quality is the age of the seed. Cannabis seeds lose viability with age, so if you buy cannabis seeds and they are difficult to germinate…the age of the seed could be the culprit. We do periotic germination tests here at Just Cannabis Seed to assure a high germination rate.
How Genetics Affects Seed Quality
Although great genetics does not mean your seeds will be more mature, nor that they will germinate better, but genetics has everything to do with your finished product.
Look at it this way, you are going to all the time, and trouble, and expense, to grow great cannabis plants. So why grow substandard bud?
Do yourself a favor and start with killer genetics. All seed sold here on JustCannabisSeed.com comes from some of the best genetic make-up around.
This bud on the left is a very popular strain developed at New 420 Seed Guys called Paul’s Purple Fire, and available here on site.
How To Store Cannabis Seeds
So you have ordered and received your cannabis seeds, and you don’t want to grow them all out right away. What to do? How should cannabis seeds be store to retain their viability? Here are four things you can do:
Keep them dry
Keep them sealed airtight
Keep them cool
Keep them in darkness
Keep Your Cannabis Seeds Dry
Make sure your cannabis seeds are stored dry. A moisture percentage in the 2-3% range is ideal for storing your cannabis seeds. A desiccant can be placed in the storage container with your seeds. Pre-packaged desiccants or silica gel packs are readily available online. Rice can also be used is as an effective desiccant, but should be replaced periodically. The use of a desiccant when storing seeds greatly improves their stability, longevity, and viability.
Keep Your Cannabis Seeds Sealed Airtight
This is a very important step when storing your seeds. If the seed bank you ordered your cannabis seeds from sends them in a sealed container, perhaps containing a desiccant, you can simply leave them unopened for long term storage.
When storing your own seed long term consider purchasing a vacuum sealer. IMO this is the best way if you do not need to access the seeds for some time. Plastic containers are not recommended, nor are baggies. For long term storage glass containers with sealable lids are best. If you need to get to them from time to time a glass canning jar with a sealable lid is a good choice.
Overall, glass containers are highly recommended for optimum storage conditions. They are suitable for long- and short-term storage. A glass jar with a glass lid is ideal, but glass canning jars with metal lids work fine too. Reusable, airtight, and easily assailable long and short term storage of your precious cannabis seeds.
Keep Your Cannabis Seeds Cool
When storing your cannabis seed temperature is another important factor to consider. If you are storing your seeds for just a few years room temperature can work well, making sure they are airtight and in darkness.
Some people keep their seeds in a refrigerator. This can work well, but you must keep in mind refrigerators are somewhat humid, if your seeds are stored there they must be in airtight containers.
Many also keep their seeds long term in a freezer, this method I do not recommend. Freezing your seeds long term can actually destroy tissue and damage the seeds. If you decide to go this route the seeds must be airtight, and care must be taken to not thaw and refreeze, as this is especially hard on seeds stored frozen.
Keep Stored Cannabis Seeds In Darkness
Light has a way of deteriorating things, and cannabis seeds are no exception. Always store your cannabis seeds (no matter where) in complete darkness. I like storing mine in a drawer in my dresser, closed and dark. If you decide on a refrigerator or a freezer that should still be kept in complete darkness.
Cannabis seeds are natural living entities, and although they are hardy and lasting, care must be taken in order to keep them longer then nature intended. Store them properly and you can enjoy the fruits of your cannabis husbandry for many years to come!
Is Buying Cannabis Seeds Online Legal?
Sorry Disclaimer Time…
All content presented within this website is for informational purposes only and does not in any way provide legal advice. Before you buy cannabis seeds online you need to know the laws in the place you reside. You also need to follow the laws in the region you reside in. I in no way encourage you to break any laws that are in place.
You, like people all over the world, want to grow this wonderful plant. Seeds are the easiest way to accomplish this. (clones are great, but not as readily available as seeds in most locals) There are likely hundreds of seed banks online who would love to sell you the cannabis seeds you seek. One main difference between my site and theirs is price. Just Cannabis Seed is a discount seed bank, I will sell always my cannabis seed at cheap, discounted prices.
The laws governing the sale, possession, and germination of marijuana seeds vary widely. Cannabis is illegal federally here in the USA. (soon to change at the time of this writing) This makes buying, growing, and simply possessing seeds complicated at times. Cannabis seeds contain no THC, which adds to the confusion. The seeds are basically legal to own in the USA, and much of Europe. We add a strong disclaimer here on the website, and in our packaging. In many locals, they are simply illegal to germinate.
We will ship cannabis seeds to the USA, most of Europe, and Australia. Most business comes from within the USA.
In conclusion, the laws governing obtaining, possession, and germination of cannabis seeds vary widely and are seemingly always in a state of flux, but if you want to get the best deals on high-quality cannabis seeds, well you have come to the right place.
I am committed to providing the best seeds from the best genetics for medical and/or recreational users at the cheapest price you will find anywhere online. I can also provide bulk, wholesale deals on many of the strains I carry.
Why Do Cannabis Seeds Cost So Much Online?
The risk, illegality, and the time it takes to breed a new strain of cannabis all add to the high cost of seeds online. Many cannabis seed banks are simply ‘resellers.’ They don’t create new stains at all, but simply buy seeds wholesale and resell those seeds online.
And, many so-called breeders simply cross two strains and sell their F1 hybrids. I do think many seeds sold online are priced too high. Especially if they are a F1 hybrid. But, the price line is based on what the market will bear. If you are willing to pay those prices you will see those prices….hint…buy mine cannabis seeds they are way cheaper!
Here at Just Cannabis Seed, I keep my prices low, especially for seeds that I have an abundance of. I will always have seeds on sale for around a couple bucks a seed. I do bulk deals for even cheaper, depending on how many seeds you buy. So if you are tired of those high prices, but still want killer genetics for highly discounted prices….shop now.
Buying Cannabis Seeds Online
Buying cannabis seeds online for the first time can be a bit nerve-wracking. With the payment methods up in the air a bit because of the federal stance on marijuana here in the US.
There really is, however, very little risk of buying and having cannabis seeds sent to your location if you reside within the United States. There is also very little risk of possessing cannabis seeds here in the US.
