Indica vs Sativa vs Hybrid

Posted on 6 Comments

This comparison guide was made just for you to shed light on several of the names for cannabis that are commonly heard and provide you with a reference.

Beautiful Cannabis

So what is the difference between Indica and Sativa? And how do hybrids fit in? What about Ruderalis and hemp?

Many cannabis companies like dispensaries, websites, and many other companies in the cannabis industry are in the business of producing and selling medicinal or recreational marijuana.

These companies often only focus on Indica, Sativa, and a wide range of hybrid strains for recreational marijuana.

For health-conscious consumers, you will also find a lot of cannabidiol (CBD)-based products being sold.

All of this information and names for cannabis can be very confusing, even sometimes for veteran cannabis aficionados.

Most Indicas, Sativas, and hybrids are cannabis strains that give users a “high”.

They are designed as a product that provides recreational users with enjoyment, and patients with medical marijuana benefits. This type of cannabis is widely-produced because of its THC and CBD content levels.

These three types of cannabis provide thousands and thousands of products for recreational or medicinal use.

Like the song, it is all about the money, so these strain varieties bring in the most money and profits for businesses that capitalize from the high levels of THC produced from Indicas, Sativas, and hybrids.

Hybrid Cannabis

By the same token, these plants also provide a massive supply of CBD oil and other related products for the medical cannabis industry, as does their cousin Hemp.

Understanding all the names, meanings, terminologies, and references to cannabis may be confusing for people who have been introduced to cannabis for the first time.

At some point in time, unless you are in complete isolation, you will probably run into marijuana consumers, a cannabis store, a dispensary, a smoke shop, or just hanging out with friends, and the topic of marijuana pops up.

Thanks to this guide, you will be able to join in on the discussion.

If marijuana discussion is not your thing, at the least, you will be able to understand what is being spoken since you will be familiar with the different types of cannabis. This guide is designed to finally give you a clear understanding of the most commonly-heard cannabis terminologies: Indica, Sativa, hybrids, and Ruderalis, and hemp.

If you are a cannabis grower, you may have come across Ruderalis and hemp before.

Otherwise, you will probably hear people refer to these cannabis plants as “the ones that do not get you high”. You may also hear someone refer to them as the plants used to extract CBD oil or used in construction.

Flowering Cannabis

While that may be true to some extent, many marijuana consumers know about some types of cannabis and not others because some of these terms are used more on the agricultural side of the cannabis world.

When it comes to Ruderalis and hemp, you will rarely hear these terms used around smokers, dealers, or in cannabis dispensaries unless you run across a cannabis store selling autoflower seeds or clones and someone is taking the time to educate growers. (Ruderalis is instrumental in producing stable auto-flowering genetics) Usually, this free information is not given out, you have to look for it.

Since Indicas, Sativas, and hybrids are the most popularly consumed varieties of cannabis for recreational use, people usually know more about these plants. Most people that only use marijuana for recreational use will only be familiar with these three terms. They may not have much knowledge of Ruderalis or hemp.

On the other hand, if you meet a cannabis grower, this person will probably be armed with a lot more knowledge and information on Ruderalis and hemp. This person may be the complete opposite of a consumer or smokes what he or she grows and never visits a dispensary.

This guide makes you a winner on both sides, whether you are a consumer or a grower, and you will know what the many terms for cannabis means from now on.

Indica vs Sativa vs Ruderalis vs Hemp

We should not forget the lowly hemp plant, nor the Ruderellis strain in our comparison, so here is an in-depth comparison of Indica, Sativa, hybrids, Ruderalis, and hemp.

Cannabis Indica.

The Force Cannabis Strain
Cannabis Indica

Cannabis Indica is cultivated for many purposes and was first identified, recorded, and published in 1785 by Jean-Baptiste Lamarck, a French biologist.

The plant originates in the harsh mountainous regions of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent.

Through his studies, he recognized the plant as a separate species from sativa, which is still argued today.

The Indica strain is well-known for its therapeutic effects, such as providing chronic pain relief and other medicinal remedies.

Popular strains of Indica include Northern Lights, Purple Kush, and Granddaddy Purple, among others.

It is also common for Indicas to provide a relaxing effect when smoked or consumed, and most strains typically include high amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

The THC compound puts Indicas, Sativas, and hybrids on the recreational side of the house because these plants come packed with higher and higher levels of THC.

Cannabis Indica Flower

They also come with various terpene combinations, making these plants exciting, thrilling, and very enjoyable for recreational cannabis lovers.

The effect and high from Indicas are commonly used to treat a wide range of psychological and physical symptoms like:

  • Anxiety disorders
  • Stress reducer
  • Pain reliever
  • Treatment for Insomnia
  • Loss of appetite
  • Anxiolytic

The high THC levels in many Indica plants can provide strong euphoric effects. Some users tend to feel more stoned and relaxed when consuming Indica strains…..resulting in a term for the Indica type of high….couchlock!

Since people are often seeking ways to relax and relieve stress, Indicas are a popular alternative.

Pauls Purple Fire Cannabis Strain
Cannabis Indica

Indicas are famous because, like when some people drink alcohol or other substances to alleviate their stress and worries, Indica strains provide the same, if not better, effects and/or relief.

Users can relieve stress, pain, and worries without adverse effects such as a hangover from consuming too much alcohol. Indicas are popularly used for recreational and medicinal purposes as well as clinical research.

The Indica plant is a broad-leaved plant, usually short in stature, which you can identify from other marijuana strains.

Traditionally, these plants were cultivated for centuries to produce different varieties of hashish which is still prevalent in West and Central Asia. In this part of the world, hashish has served for centuries to treat many illnesses in traditional Eastern medicine.

Since hashish is also high in THC, it is also famous for recreational use.

Indica Leaves

Cannabis Indica Leaf
Cannabis Indica Leaf

Indica plants are bushy plants with round, healthy leaves.

They tend to grow from nine up to thirteen leaves.

Indica leaves are also much broader, thicker, and darker green when compared to other cannabis varieties.

Buds are dense and have intense, spicy, or dank aromas.

Many of the purple varieties of cannabis are Indica strains.

Indica Buds

Indica Type Cannabis Bud
Indica Type Cannabis Bud

Indica nugs, or buds, tend to be large, tight, and very dense.

They also tent to contain copious amounts of trichomes. Indica buds tent to be darker as well, the plants themselves tend to darken with age, and temperature.

Cooler fall temperatures tend to bring on those dark purple colors all cannabis growers seem to crave.

Indica buds tend to smell earthy, and pundgent. as opposed to Sativa strains that can smell fruity, flowery, and even sweet.

Indica Plant Type

Indica plants tend to be shorter than either Sativa or Hybrid plants, but generally taller then Ruderalis and Hemp plants.

Indica plants were initially cultivated in Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush region, which is why you hear of famous strains like OG Kush, Tangie Kush, Pineapple Kush, among others.

Indicas have also been traditionally cultivated in areas around Tibet.

The average height of most Indica plants ranges from three to six feet tall.

Benefits of Indica

Indica plants can provide different and even more medicinal properties than sativa strains because they have higher levels of CBD oils. Studies have shown that Indicas can serve as a muscle relaxer and provide excellent pain relief. Other medicinal properties include analgesic effects due to the high levels of CBD oils in most plants.

Relaxing With Cannabis Indica

People rate the effects of Indica plants as providing a body high rather than a cerebral one, which is why this plant is most popularly used for muscle relaxation and sedation.

After consuming Indica, you can expect a body high and that couchlock feeling.

Sometimes Indica users feel physically heavy and highly relaxed to the point where they do not even want to move.

Indica plants also stimulate the appetite and give you the “munchies,” so you may feel hungry and want to snack on food.

Consumers who enjoy Indica often buy lots of snacks and relax in front of their favorite TV show or movie.

Others use Indicas to wind down and relax, and some people also use them as a sleep aid.

Recommended Growing Methods for Indica Plants

Indoor growers prefer Indica strains because they grow shorter and thicker than other types of cannabis plants. If you are a newbie grower and you have a grow box and lights, you will probably want to start your first grow with an Indica plant….although autoflowering plants are right there too.

Cannabis Indica Growing

Another reason Indicas are preferred by some growers is that plants of this variety can be planted more closely together. They do not require as much space to grow when compared to Sativas and sativa-dominant hybrids.

Growers interested in producing more buds take advantage of this factor with Indicas. The additional space allows a grower to yield an additional one-and-a-half to two more ounces per plant.

For someone making a profit, those extra two ounces can make a huge difference.

In addition, the potency level of Indica plants, which typically has a much higher THC level than their sativa counterparts.

People love the effects of THC and the euphoric sensation it has when consumed. The higher levels of THC in Indicas is another reason some growers favor Indicas over Sativas.

The average flowering time for Indicas is usually 45 to 60 days.

Indica is also the go-to plant for growers who are interested in making hashish.

Some say pure Indicas are more difficult to grow, I would have to disagree with this assumption. I believe all cannabis plants are relatively easy to grow out, although hybrids that show good hybrid vigor can make growing an Indica dominate hybrid a slam dunk!

  • Choose the right strain for you
  • Control your plant size during the vegetation stage
  • Grow small and fast, so pack your grow space
  • Train your plants for higher yields using Sea of Green (SCOG), low-stress training, super cropping, among other growing techniques
  • Ensure proper ventilation, humidity, and watering schedule
  • Trim broad, heavy fan leaves during late flowering just before harvest time
  • Do a proper job of drying the buds and curing them

Cannabis Sativa

Cannabis Sativa

The Sativa marijuana strain is known for growing in hot, dry climates and some of the hottest places, including Africa, Western Asia, Southeast Asia, Central America, and many other locations.

Sativa plants have been cultivated since recorded history began and has been a source of not only recreational use and medicine, but a wide range of other uses to include:

  • Food
  • Industrial fiber
  • Seed oil
  • Religion
  • Spiritual moods
  • Many other uses

Like Indicas, the entire plant is valuable and can be harvested for some benefit or utility purpose. In 1753, Carl Linnaeus, a Swedish botanist, first classified sativa as “things that are cultivated”.

Popular strains of sativa include Sour Diesel, Green Crack, Amnesia Haze, among many others.

Sativas in low THC varieties are commonly used to make hemp-related products, especially hemp seed oil. For centuries, this oil has been used for various purposes, including cooking, painting, making lacquers, lamps, and even animal feed.

Sativa Leaves

Cannabis Sativa

These plants are easily recognized and distinguished by their thin, narrow leaves. Sativas usually have more fingers than Indica leaves, I have seen as many as 13.

In contrast to Indica plants, sativa plants fare better outdoors due to their exceptional height (up to 12 feet). The slender sativa leaf also has more fingers than the Indica leaf, sometimes as many as thirteen.

Sativa leaves also tend to be a lighter shade of green then their Indica cousins

Sativa Buds

Cannabis Sativa Bud

Buds are lighter in weight when compared to Indicas and sometimes have touches of orange or red color. Some have described Sativa buds as being airy, or even wispy.

Sativas can make up for their lighter buds by the number of buds a large plant can produce.

Stativa Plants can also get big, and produce a copious amount of flowers.

The aromas from Sativas are usually subtle, fruity, or even sweet.

Sativa Plant Type

Big Sativa
Big Sativa in Greenhouse

This plant originates in equatorial climates such as Mexico, South America, Thailand, and southern Africa.

This plant is known to grow quite large, making it the best cannabis plant to produce outdoors.

You can expect them to grow on an average of six feet in height, but they can grow as high as 20 feet or more. I have grown 20 foot tall Sativas myself.

There really is no limit to how tall or how big a sativa plant can grow.

An online search of many of the popular cannabis themed video sites or blogs, and you will find images and videos of enormous, super-tall sativa plants.

Sativa plants always get the best growth and achieve maximum height when grown outdoors in full sunlight.

Benefits of Sativa

You can expect stimulating and uplifting effects when using sativa strains. When you consume this plant, you get a “head” high where the effects are mainly felt in the brain. These effects are unlike Sativas that produce a body effect.

Some people prefer this strain because it has the opposite effects of Indica. Sativas make you want to get up and dance and do something active like:

  • Construction
  • Painting
  • Cleaning
  • Going outside
  • Creating
  • Many other activities

Many people will recommend the effects of Sativas for daytime use for those who want to feel focused and energized.

However, some Sativas are so potent that they can cause hallucinogenic effects, and just like caffeine, if you consume too much, it may cause you to be hyperactive or have problems sleeping.

If you are prone to anxiety or feeling anxious and worried all the time, it may not be a good idea to consume potent Sativas.

For medicinal use, Sativas are helpful for specific medical problems:

  • Diseases
  • Ailments
  • ADHD
  • Chronic pain
  • Cancer
  • Nausea
  • Lack of appetite
  • Depression
  • Much more
Cannabis Edibles

Individuals with ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) can reap the medicinal benefits of this strain of cannabis daily. The main reason that people living with ADHD is they often require the intense concentration that the effects of Sativas provide.

Many people with ADHD need this intense level of concentration to complete tasks. Also, sativa strains provide people with ADHD with increased energy and focus.

People who suffer from depression also benefit from Sativas by increased mood elevation and desire to be active.

Sativas naturally come with an abundant amount of cannabinol (CBD) which studies have shown and proven to be one of the best antidepressants.

Sativa strains often come with high concentrations of CBD, which allows some strains to balance out the stimulating effects of Sativas.

CBD is non-psychoactive, and high concentrations in sativa strains help counteract the sometimes adverse effects of THC, such as paranoia, anxiety, or other psychoactive effects.

Many people underestimate the power of CBD, but it even helps recreational users without them even knowing it.

Recommended Growing Methods For Sativa Plants

Sativas typically take a longer time to flower when compared to Indicas. When growing outdoors in warm climates, it usually takes 60 to 90 days to flower.

For indoor grows, you can manipulate the light cycle and bring these plants to maturity much faster.

The best time for growing Sativas is during the summertime because these plants love the sun. Here are a few growing tips to help you grow Sativas more successfully.

  • Sativas need a lot more vertical space than Indicas. Consider the grow area size if you want to grow Sativas indoors. You should not have a problem growing outside as long as the plant can get full sun daily.
  • Top plants in the third and fifth weeks during the growing phase.
  • Limit your veg phase to no more than five weeks.
  • Ensure your water quality, nutrients, and root zone pH are consistent because Sativa plants can become very sensitive to environmental factors.
  • Use reverse-osmosis water, organic soils, quality nutrients, and an adequately controlled environment.

Cannabis Hybrids

Big-Bazooka
Big Bazooka Hybrid

Marijuana strains termed hybrids are genuinely a blessing to the world of cannabis plants because hybrids allow growers and consumers to have a diverse range of marijuana strains, and combinations of those strains.

It is a good idea to understand both the characteristics and benefits of these plants. As a grower or consumer, you can tailor hybrid plants to meet your specific medicinal or recreational use needs.

These plants can be any combination of Sativa, Indica, Ruderellis, and even hemp strains.

Most hybrids grown today are either sativa crossed with an Indica, or a Sativa or Indica crossed with a Ruderellis plant…which results in an autoflower cannabis strain.

Hybrids are usually easily identifiable by their names because they will include the terms of the combined strains to make the hybrid plant.

Some hybrids are Sativa-dominant, while others are categorized as Indica-dominant.

Many hybrid strains will have an equal mix of both types of cannabis, and you will find that most marijuana strains found today are hybrids.

Since there are very few pure Indicas or Sativas, and there are many people producing the seeds that are available, hybridization will likely assure the pure stains will become harder to find.

I plan on doing all I can here at JustCannabisSeed.com to continue to offer these pure strains.

Hybrid Leaves

The Black Cannabis
The Black Cannabis

The leaves of hybrids can differ based on the phenotype. If the plant is a Sativa-dominant strain, it may exhibit the thin, narrow leaves commonly found on pure Sativa plants.

Likewise, if it is an Indica dominant plant, you can expect broader and darker-colored leaves to be present.

Cannabis Hybrid leaves tend to be somewhere in the middle, and are very common these days. And one benefit of hybrid cannabis is that it can exhibit hybrid vigor, which is growing very strong and fast!

Hybrid Plant Type

Hybrids are usually a combination of Sativa, Indica, and sometimes Ruderalis cannabis strains. Typically, either the Sativa or Indica genetics will dominate, creating “sativa-dominant” or “Indica-dominant” phenotype.

Hybrid plants vary in size depending on if it is sativa or Indica-dominant. You can expect Sativa-dominant plants to grow tall while Indicas will grow much shorter in height.

And of course the inclusion of the Ruderalis plants genetics will create an auto-flowering cannabis strain.

Benefits of Hybrids

Plant genetics play a significant role in the effects of hybrids because each experience is different depending on the hybrid strain.

Sativa-dominant hybrids will have the same effect as a pure sativa, giving you uplifting effects and more focus.

Indica-dominant strains will have the same effects as a pure Indica and incorporate more couchlock, sedative, and relaxation effects.

It is also essential to pay attention to the CBD-to-THC ratio and the terpene content in hybrids to fully understand how each strain works.

Recommended Growing Methods For Hybrid Plants

Black berry Zittles Feminized (2)

Hybrid strains are prevalent among growers and consumers because Indica-dominant strains often have a shorter flowering time and higher yields.

This feature of hybrid cannabis is fantastic for commercial growers who need to meet consumer demand which is constantly changing.

Sativa hybrids provide considerable benefits to growers even though they have lower yields and longer flowering times.

The reason is that hybrids are often more heat- and mold-resistant because of their hybrid genetics. This factor makes sativa hybrids a more viable crop and more preferred by growers than pure Sativas.

One factor that makes hybrids so fantastic is that you can customize the variety of strains to your specific needs if you have a medical condition. You can customize:

  • Type of marijuana you want to grow based on hybrid genetics
  • THC-to-CBD ratio
  • Terpene content
  • Type of growing medium

There are also many other factors, methods, and techniques you can incorporate to give you better control of your marijuana grow and consumption.

In addition, a new hybrid strain is introduced every day, so you can only expect hybrids to continue to improve in quality.

Other effects to consider besides the THC-to-CBD ratio are the lesser-known cannabinoids such as CBC (cannabichromene), CBG(cannabigerol), and THCV(delta 9 tetrahydrocannabivarin), among others.

There is still much to learn about cannabis because it has remained illegal for so long, so more research and study are still required.

For example, there is still so much more to learn and understand about the effects of individual terpenes in hybrid strains.

These elements play a role in how the plant affects people when consumed. Focusing only on THC or CBD levels does not give a clear understanding of the full effects and potential of hybrid cannabis plants.

Knowing which strain you are using is essential when growing hybrid strains, which is usually very easily identifiable by its name.

For example, when you know the strain’s name, you can easily understand its Sativa-Indica genetic inheritance.

This information is critical to know as a grower because you want to learn as much about the plant as possible before you start growing.

By following this valuable advice, you can plan accordingly and calculate the expected outcome during harvest.

When growing from unknown seeds or unidentified plants, you do not know what kind of marijuana plant you are growing, and you might not get the outcome you were looking for.

There is no specific method to grow hybrids effectively because each hybrid plant is different.

Free Cannabis Seed Grow

However, they are helpful to growers in many ways.

As a grower, the methods you choose to grow will depend on what you want to achieve and the amount of space used for the growing area.

Hybrid cannabis plants are beneficial for indoor growing areas because they many of them (Indica dominate) can grow in tight, small spaces.

Some are also heat resistant which makes them preferable for use with indoor grow lights.

On the other hand, hybrids allow indoor growers to grow strains that are more heat-resistant so you can have more successful harvests. Make sure to choose the right strain that can handle the heat environment for your growing area.

Heat is just one of the factors growers can use when deciding which type of hybrid plant to grow.

If you are trying to do an outdoor grow in a Northern climate with a short growing season, you may want to consider an Indica-dominant strain better suited for colder climates and shorter growing seasons.

If you live in an area with a desert climate with little water or not much fertile soil, you can choose to grow a hybrid strain that is better suited to thrive in extreme conditions.

Do not just try to grow hybrids without first taking the time to know which strains are best suited for your growing area and specific needs.

Auto Flower Cannabis Hybrids

Sour 60 Purple Pheno
Sour 60 Purple Pheno

I cannot leave the hybrid category of cannabis strains without touching on the auto flowering cannabis plant in more detail.

Auto flowers have been around for a while now and only continue to grow in popularity.

They are created by introducing Ruderalis genetics into about any photo type of cannabis plant.

They mature quickly, and one can easily harvest several times in one growing season!

Lets take a moment and look at the pros, and the cons of autoflowers.

Pros

  • Autoflowers flower because of age, rather the the light cycle.
  • Autos are fast, making several harvests in one season possible.
  • Autos are smaller in stature then either Indicas, or Sativas. Easier to conceal, and less space needed to grow.
  • Because of the Ruderalis genes autoflowers contain they are tough, and easy to grow, even for beginners.
  • Autoflowering marijuana plants are well suited for growing either indoors, or outdoors.
  • Autoflowering cannabis plants are cheaper to grow then their full season cousins.
  • Autos are not bothered much by light leaks, or any stray light they may be subject to.
  • Auto-flowers don’t need to be transplanted, and generally shouldn’t be manipulated that way.
  • Auto flowers as a whole are only likely to improve

Cons

  • Lower yields, since the plants are smaller, so are the yields.
  • Lower THC content, although this is improving as time goes on.
  • Less time to correct growing errors, the speed of autoflowers may not give them time to recover for mistakes.
  • They can be more expensive, many people grow them under an 18/6, or even a 24/0 lighting regime, which cause more electric consumption.
  • Cloning, although they can indeed be cloned, again they have little time to recover from it.
  • Loss of control of the flowering period. Photo cannabis plants allow for manipulation of the flowering cycle.

I enjoy growing autos because of their many advantages, and they can be a sight to behold when flowered and finished in the dog days of summer.

I get many new cannabis growers here on my site, and I would recommend they all cut their growing teeth with autoflowers. For a new grower they simply offer the best avenue to expertise.

Ruderalis

Cannabis Plant in the Sun
Ruderalis Cannabis Plant

Cannabis Ruderalis is a cannabis plant that you commonly do not hear about too often.

You will listen to many people usually talking about Indicas and Sativas, and even hemp, but why does no one speak about Ruderalis?

Although Ruderalis is a primary variety of cannabis, it is a lesser-known type because it is not popular among smokers or recreational users of cannabis.

Even many medical marijuana users may not be familiar with cannabis Ruderalis.

The key feature that makes this type of marijuana plant such a winner and so important, especially to growers, is that it can grow in extremely harsh climates and conditions, and it’s ability to flower by age, rather then the hours of darkness it is exposed to.

Ruderalis Leaves

Ruderalis cannabis plants are similar to Indicas because they also have very thick foliage. It’s leaves can be Indica like, or Sativa like likely depending on the region of it’s origin.

Ruderalis Buds

Ruderalis buds are chunky, sturdy, and generally smaller than other types of cannabis plants.

Ruderalis buds contain little if any THC, so are not grown for recreational use. They do however contain copious amounts of some of the other cannabinoids….such as CBD.

Although Ruderalis is not generally grown for it’s bud, it could well become popular in the future for it’s medicinal properties.

Ruderalis Plant Type

Ruderalis Cannabis

The Ruderalis plant originates and grows in the northernmost regions of the world in Central and Eastern Europe and various areas in Asia.

These plants flourish in climates that are incredibly harsh where no other cannabis species could survive.

They also survive very short growing seasons, which means they flower the fastest compared to different cannabis plants.

Another unique feature about this plant is that when compared to Indicas and Sativas, the seeds from the Ruderalis plant are extremely tough.

You can crack, freeze, step on, or burn Ruderalis seeds, and somehow, they can still grow.

The ability of this plant to survive nearly any kind of condition is impressive and provides clues and links to keys and discoveries on how to grow cannabis in outer space.

This cannabis plant will still survive even after a world catastrophe like a nuclear holocaust or an Ice Age.

It is extremely powerful!

To understand Ruderalis a bit more, you may not believe that this plant grew wild on the side of the road or was found growing on unattended farmland just a few years ago.

All of that changed with the introduction of autoflowering strains.

Another feature that separates Ruderalis apart from Indicas and Sativas is its ability to flower regardless of the light cycle.

If a cannabis plant is not an autoflowering plant with Ruderalis characteristics, the lighting (either natural sunlight or indoor grow lights) must be manipulated naturally through seasonal change if it is an outdoor grow, or by the grower using a grow light cycle to induce flowering.

The benefit of the autoflowering characteristics in the Ruderalis plant is that you can count on your plants to automatically begin flowering in a short time after planting them regardless of the light cycle.

This feature really changed the game for growers because they no longer have to monitor the light cycle and risk ruining a harvest. It also makes growing cannabis easier.

These plants often grow between 20 to 25 inches in height. Ruderalis has the shortest stature when compared to Indica, Sativas or hemp.

Benefits of Ruderalis

There is no significant high from pure Ruderalis cannabis, and it usually has deficient levels of THC.

Ruderalis does not cause any psychotropic effects, and you should not consume any of it and expect to get the THC high.

The lack of THC content is also one of the reasons that growers typically never grow Ruderalis as a pure species.

Most likely, you will not find it sold when shopping for marijuana seeds online.

These reasons also explain why Ruderalis is often unknown to recreational users because they never come in contact with pure Ruderalis plants.

On the other hand, Ruderalis is high in CBD, making it quite useful for medicinal purposes.

Just as with the use of different types of cannabis plants, there are medical marijuana patients who take advantage of the benefits of CBD without the high and other effects associated with other types of cannabis plants that are high in THC.

Since Ruderalis has minimal THC, it benefits medical marijuana patients, especially for treating insomnia or anxiety.

The high CBD content in the Ruderalis plant is often preferred by many medical patients for providing calming and relaxing effects.

Recommended Growing Methods For Ruderalis

Free Seed Seedlings

The great thing about Ruderalis is that it is a must-have among breeders.

As mentioned before, most growers do not focus on Ruderalis as a standalone crop.

Instead, it is crossed with other marijuana species to create autoflowering hybrids that automatically begin to flower between 21 and 30 days regardless of how the lighting is manipulated.

As a result, growers can create thousands of different strains and Indica/Sativa/Ruderalis hybrids; hence the term “autoflowers”. By doing so, strains are created that are more potent in THC and become autoflower plants.

Others are crossbred to provide a high CBD content and other CBD-to-THC ratios depending on the desired outcome.

This ability to crossbreed Ruderalis to create autoflowering cannabis plants is how breeders can introduce new strains and never-before-seen varieties of cannabis.

Hemp

Hemp

Hemp is a subspecies of the marijuana plant and one of the oldest domesticated crops in the world.

Also known as industrial hemp, it is listed in a class of cannabis sativa cultivars.

Hemp is considered one of the fastest-growing plants on Earth next to bamboo. According to recorded history, it was first cultivated in East Asia in 10000 BC and was first spun into fiber 50,000 years ago.

Since then, varieties of hemp have made their way around the world.

The fibers from the hemp plant can be woven into a variety of materials. This durable material has been used to make rope and canvas for centuries.

Hemp is an excellent resource, and there is still much more growth for the hemp industry.

Hemp has long been a competitor to cotton as an agricultural cash crop, but historically, politics has played a considerable role in promoting hemp agriculture until recently. Many people prefer the quality and price of hemp over cotton.

However, when the cotton gin was introduced, it made cotton more feasible to sell.

The DuPont company also lobbied for laws against hemp and set the standard to produce cotton products until 2014.

Unfortunately money has always been a driving force in the anti-legalization efforts of this wonderful plant.

In 2014, President Obama passed a farm bill that clarified the differences between hemp and marijuana.

This legislation legally allowed farmers to restart hemp production.

President Trump also passed legislation to ensure the continued legalization, farming, and production of hemp.

Here are some of the products made with hemp:

Hemp Leaves

Hemp comes with two kinds of leaves…..sugar leaves and fan leaves.

Sugar leaves can be found easily because they are primarily located at the head. You will also see that they are covered in trichomes which give them a frosty appearance. These leaves are the extensions that look like tiny fingers you will see extending from the bud.

Fan leaves are much bigger than the sugar leaves and increase in size as they extend farther from the head. They do not have as many trichomes on them as the sugar leaves but have the highest benefits the plant offers.

Both leaves provide countless benefits and use for people who consume them.

Dried hemp leaves are used in a variety of ways, particularly as a drinking tea. When consumed as tea, it is an herbal treatment that provides a soothing, relaxing effect.

Resin that is naturally derived from hemp is fat-soluble. It is pretty potent when heated with coconut oil or milk.

Hemp Buds

Hemp buds look alot like the buds of it’s THC producing cousins sativa, and indica cannabis. They are nearly devoid of THC however, but can be rich in some of the other cannabinoids. Hemp buds are becoming more mainstream as times goes on. And are readily available at many rec shops.

Hemp Plant Type

Hemp is a variation of the cannabis sativa species and is often confused with its marijuana look alike. It is easy to mistake hemp for a cannabis sativa plant.

Since both plants share the cannabis sativa name, this super plant was outlawed for many years.

Plants generally grow from three to eight feet tall. Some hemp plants can reach heights as tall as 15 feet high. Hemp plants like all cannabis plants are annual plants and complete their life cycle within one, single growing season.

Benefits Of Hemp

All parts of the hemp plant are used in many ways, and here are some of the most common uses.

  • Food
  • CBD oil
  • Biofuel
  • Rope
  • Paint
  • Insulation
  • Animal feed
  • Sunscreen lotion
  • Biodegradable plastics
  • Textiles
  • Hemp milk
  • Soap
  • Diapers
  • Hempcrete
  • Clothes
  • Countless other products

Hemp leaves….Pressed to make juices and also consumed in fresh green salads. Known to be nutrient-rich and often brewed to create a relaxing CBD tea.

Hemp Cannabis
Hemp Cannabis

Hemp fibers…..Plant fibers are an excellent material commonly used to make paper products and manufacture clothing. It is now common to find hemp rolling papers sold in many stores and smoke shops.

Fibers are also used to make canvas, rope, and plastic composites. Other uses for hemp fibers include the production of ethanol fuel and other bio fuels that can power engines.

Cannabis consumers who prefer to smoke joints often choose rolling papers made out of hemp rather than other types of rolling papers. These health-conscious cannabis consumers prefer hemp papers because they do not contain any chemicals used in making the papers, and they are produced naturally.

Hemp stalks….The plant’s stem contains many fibers used to make a wide range of items.

Hemp contains deficient levels of THC. To qualify as hemp, plants must have a THC level of less than 0.3%.

For centuries, farmers have always known hemp to be an excellent cash crop.

Hemp is easy to grow, and is finally coming to it’s own here in the USA.

Two main reasons are that it requires very little fertilizer and grows to maturity quickly, ranging from 8 to 12 weeks.

Since it grows to maturity so quickly, farmers can harvest three or four times in one season, and this fast turnaround is essential for income and livelihood.

What is Delta-8 THC?

Posted on Leave a comment

There’s been a lot of popularity surrounding the more recent Delta-8 THC, but what exactly is it?

Delta-8 THC, or delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol, is one of the four main cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant.

In the cannabis that the majority of cannabis enthusiasts are used to using, it is the compound delta-9 THC that provides most of the desired effects.

Delta-9 and delta-8 are two very similar cannabinoids, but have some differences. Delta-8 provides effects of less potency and intensity than delta-9, which, on the other hand, means less adverse effects as well.

Delta-8 is legal in many areas due to the fact that most of it that is on the market is manufactured from hemp-derived CBD- this makes it legal, technically.

Delta-8 is known to be a safe compound, as it naturally occurs in all cannabis, just at smaller amounts. The effects that delta-8 provides, although less potent, are the same as delta-9 offers.

There are many medical conditions that can be treated by using delta-8, also.

Delta-8 THC is a trend that is still young, and many questions still exist regarding its effects, origin, and legality.

JustCannabisSeed.com does not offer legal advice- however, we want our customers to stay informed on any and all cannabis topics, so please subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media for the latest advice and information!

Types of Cannabis Plants, and Seeds

Posted on Leave a comment

What Types of Cannabis Plants are There?

Cannabis is a genus of flowering plants in the family Cannabaceae. It is generally accepted that there are three species of Cannabis, ie…Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Ruderalis. Cannabis plants come in both male and female, with the ability to hermaphrodite (that is females that produce pollen in a last ditch effort to continue their species). Hermaphroditism is the bane of sinsemilla growers everywhere, but is the result of that practice. We have seeds available for both Indica and Sativa. Ruderalis plants produce little THC and is undesirable for most people for that reason. There are also a few variations of seeds as well. Seeds can come as regular seeds ( will produce both male and female at about 50/50), feminized seeds (will produce only female plants as they are lacking the Y chromosome), and auto flowering seeds (auto flower plants will flower regardless of light cycle.)

Regular Cannabis Seed

Now let’s take a closer look at the advantages, and disadvantages of each type of seed. Regular seed is the seed commonly sold online. They will produce both male and female plants, and these plants will be photo sensitive. (need about 12 hours of darkness to initiate flowering.) Outdoors without shading they will grow all summer, and flower in the fall. Indoors you can ‘make’ them flower by increasing the dark period to about 12 hours. Disadvantage…you will have to contend with male plants.

Feminized Cannabis Seed

Feminized seed is seed that manipulated during breeding to contain only the female or X chromosome. These seeds should only grow into female plants. The advantage of feminization is you will not spend time nor waste space raising male plants….If you are wanting sinsemillia. (seedless flowers) Disadvantage…feminized seed is more difficult to produce and usually commands a higher price.

Auto Flowering Cannabis Seed

Lastly you have the auto flowering seeds. Auto-flower seeds are produced by crossing a Ruderalis plant with either a Sativa, or a Indica plant. Auto flower plants are not photo sensitive, or in other words, do NOT need a longer dark period to initiate flowering. They will flower at a certain age regardless of the length of the dark period. There are a few advantages of auto flowering plants…They are generally shorter and smaller, so easier to conceal. No need to tamper with the light cycle, as they will bloom under even 24 hours of light. Disadvantage…they are felt to contain less THC, although they seem to be gaining ground in that department.

Medical Benefits of Cannabis

There seems to be no end to the medical benefits of cannabis! And, now with legalization becoming more common, more and more studies are being conducted proving even more medical benefits of this incredible plant. Recently, scientists are realizing that cannabis not only can help with the devastating side effects of some cancer treatments, but may even help ‘cure’ cancer. The medical benefits of this amazing plant are many and varied. Here are just a few of the conditions treated with Medical Cannabis….Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Headaches and migraines, Epilepsy, and it’s seizures, Cancer and it’s treatments, Depression, Asthma, Parkinson’s, ADD/ADHD, Stress, Insomnia, nausea, anxiety, chronic pain, some wasting conditions, with more conditions seemingly added every day. Can You Sex a Cannabis Seed by Its Appearance?

Posted on Leave a comment

Many state that there are tricks on sexing a cannabis seed by its overall appearance. A popular photo shows on the Internet quite frequently, and a lot of cannabis growers use this photo as reference to sex their seeds.

Most cannabis growers would much rather know the sex of their seed immediately, but is this possible?

Here, we will go over this theory, as well as the photo.

Contrary to what many think, you cannot sex a cannabis seed simply by looking at a seeds characteristics. Furthermore, you cannot sex a cannabis seed, period.

Cannabis growers and cannabis enthusiasts alike- beware of this well-known myth.

If this were the case, the process for feminized cannabis seeds would not exist, and would not be such a “hit” in the cannabis seed market.

The Photo Behind the Myth

sexing cannabis seeds

Here is that photo that is widely recognized by many tokers and growers as a genuine guide to sexing cannabis seeds.

This photo displays five seeds (which honestly, may not even be cannabis seeds)- the photo states that two of the seeds are male, while the remaining three are female.

According to this photo, if there is no “perfectly round” crater present at the bottom of the seed, it is surely a male seed. This is purely myth.

In addition, you cannot sex a weed seed by the way it rolls on a flat surface. This photo should be considered nonsensical, however, there are still far too many who side with these false statements.

There are also many seed banks online who are currently selling seeds that they claim to be certain are feminized seeds, however, use the seeds’ characteristics as determination that the seeds are female.

There are even some seed banks who offer “free male seeds” to customers as a promotion.

JustCannabisSeed.com may not offer feminized seeds, but we do offer you the guarantee that your seeds’ genders are unknown- which is much better than having your hopes let down by a falsely-informed seedbank.

We would much rather tell you that we are unsure of the sex of your seeds, than to promise that they are either female or male cannabis seeds, and later find out that the exact opposite is true.

In Conclusion

There is no surefire, 100% guaranteed way of sexing a cannabis seed by its appearance. If anyone tells you otherwise, please let them know that this is a common myth. Stay informed with JustCannabisSeed.com.

How Cannabis Helped My Seizures

Posted on Leave a comment

Guest Post from Dana….Thanks Dana

Marijuana is a plant that grows into the ground with no added ingredients added to it.

Medical Marijuana

Other drugs have things added to them to make them more effective to the alignment to help with aches, cancer and many other illnesses.

I know as a person who has had seizures, marijuana has helped me get off of the seizure meds and be able to function to raise my kids. The seizure meds had me loopy and not all the way there for my kids. I can focus more on them then having to worry about if I am able to take care of everyday needs for them.

They have their mother back!

Just like everything thing else you have to do in moderation and always be aware of your surroundings.

Now that I can’t get any help with trying to get a medical card because the new Dr, I am seeing is saying she will not give me one because she feels it will not help my seizures.

But after taking that medicine that makes me not alert for my kids. I don’t want to have to back track all the hard work I been through in the last year.

I can function better for them when I have smoked a little marijuana, and it doesn’t make me sick from taking it. And, it doesn’t take much to realize the effects! I am able to hold down food and do other things to keep me going through the day.

My grandmother had cancer and while she was going through her chemo, she lost her hair and no appetite she smoked some marijuana and was able to eat and feel a whole lot better about herself.

My mother has arthritis with no cure or surgery to help the pain in her joints but with marijuana she is able to cope with the pain from it.

I don’t write this to receive pity, I write this so other people with the same health issues as me and my family can at least find a faster, better way to help with their pain and and receive the best help possible for them.

Not a lot has worked for us, even when we tried the meds that the Drs gave us.

I can actually focus on the day ahead of me after i have smoked a little marijuana.

I remember being pregnant with my oldest daughter. I wasn’t gaining weight and not holding food down so I smoked a little marijuana while still early in my pregnancy. I was able to keep food down and not be sick because my Dr thought he was going to have to have me on hospital rest because of the weight loss. I told him I smoked some marijuana and was able to gain the weight back, and my Doc happily allowed me to continue to use cannabis in moderation.

Fast forward to 20 years later, my daughter is now in college, and on the dean’s list every year since she entered college! Cannabis has been in the forefront of treating my illnesses, and improving my quality of life!

How Cannabis Has Changed My Life!

Flowering Cannabis

As some of us have experimented with marijuana in our younger years, my generation always split the gap between pro and anti marijuana legislation.

There was always a debate in social gatherings and political platforms alike. Sometimes leading to unfair stigma and judgement.

Naturally I was elated when my state legalized the herb for medicinal use and small grows. About a year ago I was approved and started using cannabis to treat PTSD, severe depression and anxiety.

The results were amazing compared to the pharmaceuticals that were being pushed to me and changed almost like the weather.

Using the right combination of relaxing and focusing strains for day/night use has cut my prescription drug usage down to half and still dropping with every checkup.

Cannabis Flower
Cannabis Flower

Most people can’t afford to pay outrageous prices for designer flower in pretty packages and growing your own medicine keeps the impact off your wallet while providing a fulfilling hobby for a great payout.

I’ve started growing in a small grow tent and have found the whole endeavor to be pretty fun and fulfilling.
Though it took some research and beginners mistakes to get the ball rolling, I’m able to produce my own medicine without hassles of lines and prices.

Keep at it and it will become like second nature.

Providing things keep improving at their current level I hope to be pharmaceutical free by the end of the year. Thanks to this gift of a plant my life has changed for the better on all fronts.

I feel the best I’ve felt in years and have more focus and energy than I could hope for with the most refreshing rest to recharge the old battery.

So I guess the point to all this rambling is to keep an open mind and remember that what works for you may be different from the next person. Give yourself the chance to improve by means that others may find controversial.

Our dependency on pills to make everything better that give you worse side effects than the conditions they treat sometimes holds back the progress of refining the natural gifts we have used for millennia.

Spent Male Flowers Adorn Her

With daily life comes incredible stress and it is more important than ever to be able to make an effort to improve our quality of life.

If marijuana can give you that relief and let you relax and enjoy your life, I’d say you deserve it. Times are crazy enough and people need to keep in mind that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Just a little time to kick back and listen to music or listen to a book, maybe take a hike and enjoy a little fresh air and sunshine can change your perspective completely.

I honestly have to thank the people that are trying to make this treatment more mainstream and cutting the stigma away. They put in amazing work and provide us with a resource far better than years ago.

In short, my life is much more enjoyable because of medical cannabis.

I’m happier, healthier and more fun to be around.

I’m able to enjoy more social interaction and be around people for the first time in what seems like forever.

Thanks for listening to my success story and opinions.

Cannabis-Infused Peanut Butter Cookies

Cannabis Infused Chocolate Cookie Goodness

Canna Have Another Peanut Butter  Bite Cookie?

What?s not to love about cannabis cooking?   I know I love everything about it, and I?m here to share a simple but sweet favorite.   These little 3 ingredient gems are sure to get a smile from your cannabis consuming friends.   Keep it simple or spruce it up; leave it alone,

or layer it with a cannabis-infused chocolate coating.  The possibilities are absolutely endless for these sweet, healthy, flourless, dairy-free and oh so simple chewy peanut butter bites . . . and you might just have everything you need to make them now.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup peanut butter (Your favorite or course).  I use a healthy natural peanut butter like Maranatha Organics or a Jiff Natural, but it’s your recipe now, so it’s really up to you to have fun with. 🙂
  • 1/3 – 1/2 cup medicated infused natural  sweetener (or up to 1 cup medicated sugar or a combination of medicated and regular sugar to suit your medical needs).  Feel free to taste the batter when you mix the sugar and peanut butter together to get your desired sweetness.  I prefer not so sweet, but if you have a sweet tooth that needs craving or want your cookies to pack a bigger punch, add a little more.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional.  I opt-in, because I make my own vanilla extract, but if you don’t have any on hand, don’t let it stop you from baking up a batch of delicious meds.)
  • Add-ins like Chocolate chips, jelly, nuts, flavored baking chips,  (optional)

Also needed: Cookie sheet and baking spray or parchment paper.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F and spray a cookie sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter and  sweetener to taste, (Yes, taste it if you want to now for desired sweetness, keep adding until you are happy with the taste.)
  3. Add the egg and mix.
  4. Optional add ins , 1 tsp of vanilla, and/or chocolate or flavored baking chips, nuts, or jelly on top in the center like a thumbprint cookie ). Remeber tHC likes FAT to bond, so do not be scared to layer a little if you want.
  5. Scoop out a tablespoon of dough at a time and roll it into a ball and set it  onto the cookie sheet.  – Flatten the cookie balls by pressing your finger into the middle (If making jelly thumbprint cookies add a small spoon of jelly on top prior to baking) –  Or, use a fork and lightly press on top of them to make a classic criss-cross pattern.- Maybe add some Peanut butter, chocolate chips, or another Flavor if you prefer.
  6. These will not spread like a traditional peanut butter cookie,  so they can be spaced close together on your cookie sheet.  You should fit all 12 to a pan, with no problem.
  7. Bake these babies up for 8-10 minutes, or until the cookies have golden brown edges or are done to your liking.
  8. Remove from baking sheet and cool before you enjoy the bite sized buzz.
  9. Store in airtight container up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.   Approx 12 cookies depending on size.

Be sure to label these cookies and store them safely.  Little fingers shouldn’t find these, so please keep them  out of reach of children without a medical card, and pets who might overindulge and not be able to help themselves.

Storing Canna (have another) Peanut Butter Cookies

I am a believer of fresh is best, so I make these regularly.  These cookies will last up to 5 days If they are stored at room temperature in an airtight container, but I bet that they won’t last that long.

Saving some for later, planning a party, or just doubling the batch? You can even freeze these babies.  If you want to freeze them,  here are a few tips and tricks.

  1. First let them cool completely. (This is very important.)
  2. Next, lay them out in a single layer on a small cookie sheet or plate and freeze them until they are frozen solid. (We do this so that the cookies don?t stick together.)
  3. Once these gems are frozen, you can transfer them to an airtight container or zip-top freezer bag.  They store nicely for up to 3 months.  Thaw them ahead by leaving a few out overnight in the refrigerator or on the counter, and then enjoy them at your leisure.   In fact, I have a few in my fridge, and I am off to enjoy one now with my morning coffee.  What a wonderful way to start a morning!  Wishing you Peace and Love, and Prosperity to All
  1. The Next Recipe will be today?s treat.  I call it Monkey Business (chocolate deliciousness made infused butter or coconut oil) with the chefs choice of coconut, candy, and or nuts)

Making Activated Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil

Posted on 2 Comments

Guest Post by CJ, Thanks CJ

Thing first step in making your own cannabis-infused coconut oil is weighing out 7 grams of marijuana.

Preheat your oven to 215?F, then break up the weed using a cannabis grinder or a pair of scissors.

Cover the bottom of your baking dish with the ground cannabis, and seal tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake the cannabis in the 215?F oven for 30 minutes to activate the cannabis. This process is called decarboxylation, and it helps to create a more potent oil infusion.

Remove from the oven, leaving the aluminum foil tight over the top. Keeping it sealed helps prevent cannabinoid-rich vapor or steam from escaping the container, and allows it to settle back into the herb ? again, helping with potency.

Melt your coconut oil in a medium-size pan over low heat while the baking dish filled with herb cool.

After the herb dish has been left to cool for about 15 minutes, uncover and pour the melted coconut oil over the cannabis. Use a spoon to mix until combined; the goal is to coat all of the dry herb with oil.

Cover tightly with the aluminum foil once more, and return it to the 215?F oven for an hour and a half. If possible, it?s best to stir/agitate the mixture once or twice while it?s baking. Doing so helps the cannabinoids distribute more evenly.

Remove the dish from the oven, and let cool with the aluminum foil cover on for 15-20 minutes ? until you can comfortably handle the dish.

Place a double layer of cheesecloth over the opening of whatever storage vessel you will be using to store your infused oil. Carefully pour your infusion over the cheesecloth, straining out all chunks of plant matter in the process.

Gather up the sides of the cheesecloth into a bundle, and squeeze out as much remaining oil as possible….You?re all done! It is that easy to make your own cannabis-infused coconut oil.

You?ve just created a batch of activated cannabis-infused coconut oil, and now you can make a delectably potent batch of cookies, edibles, or you can use this anywhere you would use ?regular? coconut oil, making it perfect for multiple use possibilities with this infusion are endless!

It helped me with the pain in my leg after having 16 pins and 2 plates to put me back together. The infused cannabis oil helps with my debilitating backaches as well.

Looking into buying a butter machine to make it easier till then this my old recipe.

Hope this recipe helps you create your own cannabis infused medicine to improve your quality of life!

How Our Bodies Absorb Cannabis Medications

Posted on Leave a comment

A Guest Article From Bree, Thanks Bree

Four Ways Our Bodies Take in This Marvelous Medication.

Smoking and Vaping

The seemingly easiest and perhaps most popular method of absorption is inhalation.
It is also the shortest acting.

THC, CBD and other cannabis compounds are absorbed into the body through the lungs by inhaling combusted or vaporized cannabis.

There are many methods of combustion and various levels of vaporization. Each carries its own benefits and effects.

Smoking a joint is very different than smoking a pipe, and both are different than smoking a bong. Vaporization is its very own glorious beast.

Ingesting Edibles

Ingesting edibles is becoming increasingly popular and with dispensaries becoming more legalized, this is becoming an even more popular prescription for medical patients.

Although this absorption method takes time because the Thc and cbd molecules have to travel through the digestive system where they are absorbed and metabolized. The medical benefits last substantially longer and are generally worth the wait.

Just like inhalation, the types of ingestion vary. Simplified, the most popular forms of edibles are candies and baked goods, although cooking and meals with meds and infused fats and oils as well as raw plant materials are becoming increasingly more popular.

Beverages like weed wine and Green Dragon are also great choices. Cbd drinks and juices are also trending.

Absorption Through Mucus Membranes

Absorption of THC and CBD through mucus membranes found in the mouth is arguably the fastest, most discrete, and most effective method of med absorption.

The effects of only a few drops of your favorite cannabis medication in your mouth is sure to please most medical and recreational users (and save your lungs a little).

Consider making or trying:
? your tincture of choice (Typically alcohol, oil, or glycerin) under the tongue,
? a spoon full of some special sugar, or my preference a healthier monk fruit version)(like an adult version FunDips).
? Make some HealTHC Honey, or
? try a tiny dab of RSO

Transdermal Absorption of Cannabis

Finally, transdermal absorption. This is the absorption of cannabis medicine like Thc and CBD through the skin. This method is not psychoactive and results only in localized effects.

Making these creams and lotions can be a fun project for the scraps growers and even recreational users may inevitably have.

In Conclusion

The wonderful thing about cannabis is that it can be tailored to you and to fit your needs.

As a grower, a cook, a baker, and a cannabis meds maker, I can tell you the possibilities are endless, and they are not one size fits all.

It?s all about finding out what works best for you in your state, that also fits with your lifestyle, and most importantly your body and it’s chemistry.
