Well, I actually started a couple free seed gardens this year. But the first was nipped by frost, so I replanted (still early, as I wanted to get an early start) and low and behold the second bunch of plants were nipped by a even later frost as well.
So I did not share my garden with you guys much till I knew they would survive. Here are some youtube videos of the garden as it began to grow out…

11/5/25, It is time to officially bring this contest to an end. I have enjoyed growing sensimilla for the first time in over 5 years! Cannabis flowers get so much bigger and more impressive when grown seedless.
I was also happy with how this grow matured there, as the season is shorter and I wondered just how big the plants could get.
So I pushed them a bit with fertilizer to give them the opportunity to put on as much growth as possible during veg. And, they did not disappoint, a few of the plants were pushing 10 feet tall, and that is good enough for me.
Once I move there, I will try to grow some 10 pound plants up there…but I will have to use some tricks of the trade to accomplish that. The main ‘trick’ being sprouting the plants in Feb indoors in veg, then put them out in about April when they are 3 or 4 feet tall.
Enough of that, now back to this years free cannabis seed garden. Here are some random images of the results of this garden…
These are the flowers you can expect from one of these $20 orders. And depending on the male/female ratio you could have as many as 20 females.
And a few more that did not do justice in the gallery above.
This is the first harvest, which is a trick Gorilla growers use to assure some harvest even if thieves find the grow. There 14 plants, and this is the 14 top buds, as well as a few other larger ones. When harvesting like this the smaller buds you leave will likley attain a much larger size weather permitting.
And below is the rest of the harvest nearly 2 weeks later…
Pretty flowers! I think the harvest will weight about 5 pounds total, and I am happy with the outcome. Did you grow a free seed contest garden this summer? If so now is the time to let me know and share some images in a comment on this page.
Below is about 1/2 of the harvest. I do not spend the time trimming for perfection, just get off all the leaves that contain no trichomes. I am actually giving away all but about a lb, which is all I need. Mostly given away to folks suffering with cancer. I love making free medicine for these folks!
Excellent quality for all of it (especially the Indica!), and the plants varied from pure Indica, to a pure Sativa. One thing I love about these free seed orders.
Conclusion
This garden was grown from one free cannabis seed order, the photo type of plant version. You can also choose all autoflowers, or you will get the mix of both if you have no preference.
