I would imagine this question is asked on occasion. And, I am going to answer it from my experience.
I have been growing seed to sell online for 3 years now, but have had a life long love for the plant for over 50 years.
And, have likely bought thousands of dollars worth of seed.
Some seeds you buy are awesome, very mature, and very viable.
Some seeds you buy can have some somewhat immature seeds in the mix, but even they, can be very viable…nature works hard to continue a species.
And sadly, some seeds you may pay good money for are simply no good, none sprout, and the seeds are obviously sterile.
That being said, shipping living things through the mail can be somewhat iffy.
Imagine a 100 degree day, and your shipment of seeds sits in a mail persons vehicle’s dash….in full sun while they are eating their lunch.
Or perhaps in the cargo area of a plane that is unheated while they fly above the clouds…
Ok, enough of that, now back to the original question..
What Are The Very Best Cannabis Seeds?
Ok, so without considering genetics, nor the resulting plants, but only the quality of the seed, no matter the plant it produces.
I think the very best seed is those seeds that are the very first to be produced by the plant when she is first pollinated. These seeds can actually be in preflowers, or by themselves as the bud develops above them on the stem. These are always the first seeds to mature. And these seeds can actually drop off the plant before harvest, as their bracts splits releasing them.
With that being said…I have just harvested some Sour 60 Auto-Flower Cannabis Seeds, that I grew out during the Dixie Cup Grow Challenge. You can find pictures of the mother plants there.
I hung the plants to dry, and when they were, I took all the plants, put them upside down in a big paper sack, and gave them a good shake. This makes all those first seeds I just told you about….fall out, and in the bag. And, here they are…
I loved the Blackberry Auto’s I grew last year! They were fabulous! Not OG just Blackberry!
Yes, those were great sellers, but I ran out. I am having more seeds made as we speak…so watch for those in the future.

Awesome, just leave me a note, with your order, specifically asking for them. I know I am spoiling my customers a bit, but many of the seeds I sell are regular…not feminized…so I want to give a few extras if I can (some seeds I have many of). I also decided to reward those that read my posts a bit with those two give-aways. And, as I said in that post, I always want to sell the best products I can, and the GDP seeds I have have simply not measured up. If I ever grow out a strain twice, and both times the plants do not reach my expectations, I will simply cull the strain….I do not want to sell inferior products!
My very favorite seeds are an automatic seed. The name was “Blackberry” no OG or any of that just Blackberry. I grew it and two week dried it then cured it for about 3 months, Talk about a wonderful smoking exerience. WOW…. THC was at about 22% so the breeder said and I believe every word of it!!!!
