Plants Destined for the Food-Forest
I’m gearing up for another trip to my property soon, where I’ll be planting most of the Plants Destined for the Food-Forest. It’s always exciting to add more diversity and life to the space, knowing it will one day become a self-sustaining haven for both people and wildlife.
For those of you who are curious, I’ve snapped some photos of the plants destined for the food forest. Let’s see if you can guess (or maybe even know) what they all are! There’s a good mix of unique species in the lineup, so it might be a fun challenge for anyone who’s as plant-obsessed as I am.
Here’s the deal: if anyone manages to correctly identify all the plants in the images, I’ll send you some free seeds to help you start your own food forest journey. Sharing the joy of planting is one of the best parts of this process, so consider it my little way of paying it forward.
The excitement of planting these additions runs deep, knowing each one plays a role in the larger ecosystem I’m building. From fruit-bearing trees to nitrogen-fixing ground covers, every plant contributes something unique. Whether it’s providing shade, improving soil health, or offering food and shelter for pollinators, this forest is growing into something truly magical.
So, take a look at the photos, give me your best guesses, and let’s celebrate the beauty and abundance of nature together! 🌱🌳
