The Final Harvesting of the Cannabis Plants at Stony Oasis Farms

Here are the cannabis plants on the final harvest day up at Stony. As I have done so many times in the past, I like to do an initial harvest of about half the buds…whether grown as sensimilla, or if grown for seed.

One does not know how hard the plants will be hit by frost, and they can take a frost and grow on. The plants in the vid above have endured maybe 10 days of nightly frost so far, you can see some plants are significantly damaged, and some show zero damage. That is how it works…some strains are very sensitive to frost, and some not so much.

Thing is even if it frosts hard it will generally not damage the actual buds as much as the leaves, and one needs to realize frost will not hurt the seeds.

Too Busy to Give the Cannabis Plants the Attention They Deserve

I have truthfully been very busy with the final steps needed to be done to move to my property, and have little time for the cannabis. I did finall get my water moved the 200 feet to supply my RV right where it will sit. And I have hopefully finally got my solar system dialed in so my batteries will charge as they should. I will see next trip up that that is the case, then I will drain the batteries and make sure they charge normally…and I will be golden.

I also installed a drain in a pond I dug…so I can run water in the dead of winter, and it will have some place it can go for sure…

Whack Em and Stack Em…The Cannabis Gets Cut Down

So, that is the end of this grow. I must say I have learned new things about our favorite plant! The trucks did not get huge, although some were about 3 inches in diameter. You can see all the stumps in the vid above.

I also have little room to put these huge plants to dry, so had to just pile them up inside one of my conex boxes. I will be going up and stripping them all soon, and I will be making their seed available to you. I am sure I will get some awesome seeds from this grow, and I think even the very long winded Black Tiger strain will produce some great seeds…even if they are only pre-flower seeds.

The bulk of the buds I harvested a few weeks ago may not have many fully mature seeds within them. I will not really know till I process them all, run it through my seed separator, and clean out all the immature seeds.

I will be offering these seeds as a pack deal, and individually…at a very discounted price. My main reason for this grow was to one show you just what you can grow from my genetics, and to grow a ton of seed so I can offer you guys a great deal. I think I have been successful on both fronts.
